Blakely Construction applies for ACC Accreditation

Blakely Construction has applied to join ACC's Accredited Employer Programme.

This shows a commitment by the company to make a Health & Safety & wellbeing a priority in the business by active managent  and prevention of  incidents and accidents.

The Accredited Employer Programme is a self-management option for companies to take on the responsibility of managing their own work-place injuries. The programme encourages a partnership between employers and employees to create a safer workplace.

The focus will now be on two key areas - employee injury prevention through staff education and self-management, and the effective management of incidents and injuries when they do occur.

The audit will take place in the next few weeks.
