Chaney's Road intersection on State Highway One was the most damaged State Highway of all from the Christchurch September 4th earthquake.

Working with Opus and Transit, speed was of the essence, and trucks were subcontracted to deliver the huge volumes of metal needed to repair the road, which was over 2,300 cubic metres.

The road was repaired and reopened in the space of a week.
